Bournemouth, UK, 1971. Lives and works in London.
At the center of Dryden Goodwin’s practice is a fascination with
drawing. He combines drawing with photography, film, large-scale screen-based installations and soundtracks. He is engaged with time as well as the drawing line, and with the sculptural potential of two-dimensional images. Other concerns in his art are also strongly contemporary: the city, the relationship between public and private, voyeurism and desire and an emotional distance. (Gallery statement)
