In her installations, Micol Assaël makes use of the laws and principles of physics to create cerebral environments. With minimal interventions she stretches the limits and the normal course of things, provoking strong emotions in the public.
To cross her spaces or look through her drawings means choosing to enter a force field, a sort of time capsule that is a receptor of soothing sensations which then intensifies them. As a result of material stimulus, the body responds with a physical reaction to which a long and unpredictable mental journey is added. (Roberta Tenconi)
