Riccardo Previdi’s work investigates the structure and perception of space. He draws on the language of modernism and of ’60s and ’70s architecture and design. Interested in the formally and socially revolutionary ideas of that time, he transforms them in his installations, altering for example the size and material of Italian artist-designer Previdi through the multiplication of geometrical units and through a careful research into materials, investigating the transformative potential of the work of art.
