Venice
Corban Walker to represent Ireland at 54th Venice Biennale

The Dublin-born artist Corban Walker has been selected to represent Ireland at the 54th Venice Biennale in 2011. He is known for his installations, sculptures, and drawings that relate to perceptions of scale and architectural constructs.

 

Director of The Pace Gallery in New York, Emily-Jane Kirwan, will be the

commissioner of the Venice project.  The exhibition curator is Eamonn

Maxwell, director of Lismore Castle Arts, a not-for-profit gallery in

Ireland.
